K-Twins Davao

Tahitian Bagnet
Trying out dishes from other places sound like an exciting experience, right?
Fortunately, we don't need to travel to taste an array of cuisines. Japanese, Korean, French, Spanish, Italian - we all have them in Davao.
But isn't it more exciting to taste regional dishes, different delicacies and ethno-cuisines like Ilocano dishes?
Have you heard of K-Twins Davao? They used to have a small eatery in Obrero. My friends really like their food and they would always recommend this place. They told me that the place is worth blogging.
Unfortunately, K-Twins Davao closed their little haven. I haven't had the chance to try their famous Bagnet dishes.
A few weeks ago, my friend found out that K-Twins is already in Damosa. Yey! It's a few meters away from the famous Brewery Damosa.
The place is relatively new. I found out that K-twins Davao opened last March 16, 2015. The interior has a rich vintage Filipino vibe. Quite classic, but with a modern twist because of their mini bar. The staff were very accommodating and the service was quite fast.
K-Twins Davao's Menu:
Ilocano cuisine is known as a melting pot of good food - Bagnet, Pinakbet, Papaitan, Dinakdakan and more!
K-twins Davao placed a fresh new twist to the ordinary Bagnet (deep-fried pork belly). They have other varieties such as Bagnet with KBL, Tahitian Bagnet, Tokwa't Bagnet, and Chicken Bagnet. They also have other famed Ilocano Dishes available. The serving is quite huge as well. One order is already good for 2-3.
Crispy Dinuguan
We opted to try the Tahitian Bagnet, Tokwa't Bagnet, Igado, and Crispy Dinuguan. Both tasted quite good, but the Tahitian Bagnet stole my heart. It was very tasty. They incorporated veggies and succulent sauce to the traditional Bagnet.
No wonder the small eatery turned into a resto bar!
Tokwat Bagnet
TIP: Go for Tahitian Bagnet!
Overall Verdict: I will surely come back. They deserve 5 stars in every aspect - Bagnet, ambiance, service, and affordability.
